The heart of this home is the living space in the open plan area. The kitchen is beautifully positioned at one end of the room, thoughtfully designed and contemporary in style with white gloss units and black granite worktops, this is the kitchen you can happily get distracted in whether its packing a picnic for the beach or getting dinner ready for friends at the end of the day. Practical too, with everything you need within easy reach. For informal dining bar stools can be placed along one side of the breakfast bar, ideal for friends and family to enjoy a glass of wine whilst you get to work with your culinary efforts.
Next to the kitchen is an area dedicated to formal dining with glorious views over the sea and from here we then have the sitting area, which becomes cosy on a winters night. However, on a beautiful summers day, slide back the patio doors and let the balcony become part of this glorious space. We'll come back to what the balcony offers later on.
Come back to the hallway, where there are two convenient cupboards to hide everyday items such as the vacuum cleaner can be found.
There are two good sized double bedrooms, The Master Bedroom has a large built-in wardrobe which awaits your favourite clothes, and yet still space for more furniture. The ensuite bathroom is approached off bedroom this gorgeous bathroom has everything you need, and has the feel of a boutique hotel.
The guest bedroom again with large built in wardrobes has an en-suite shower room - the one you can party in. You and the children have been to the beach, no problem, you can all fit in here and still have room to spare.
Come back down the hall into the living area and out to the balcony. A great space to sit at the end of the day and enjoy a sundowner whilst watching the sun set, or maybe dinner with friends.
Out and about- Lets explore the area. In just a few minutes walk you and your family can be on the beach and building sandcastles or swimming in the sea. Why not splash out on a date night and head over to the Burgh Island Hotel which is an iconic Art Deco landmark and retreat, positioned on a wildly beautiful and secluded tidal island. The hotel was once described as a shining white ocean liner surrounded by golden beaches and silver seas. Or maybe meet with friends at The Pilchard Inn, there is nowhere better to sit in front of a roaring fire and watch the tides 'meet' and 'part' while nursing a pint and a fresh crab baguette.
There is so much to choose from locally you'll never be short of somewhere to go, to see or to do especially with use of the shared leisure centre within the Burgh Island Causeway complex that consists of an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, sauna and a well-equipped gymnasium. "We have dealt with The Coastal House on a couple of occasions over the years and have always received the very best of service. We have both bought and sold via them; they are always proactive and kept us fully updated. The local market knowledge that Julie and her team have is second to none and is just what you need from an agent. There are many agents in Dartmouth but The Coastal House beats them all."
