We absolutely love this property in every way, so much so that we officially named it "Our Place" in the hope that all its visitors over the years would feel like it was 'their place' too. We have spent a lot of happy times renovating and decorating the property to reveal it's true beauty in what we think is a tasteful, stylish, modern yet characteristic way. We couldn't be happier with the results and are flattered to have heard that our guests feel the same way.
We used the property as our personal holiday home, during which we made many many happy memories, especially during the summer and festival season. For the past 8 months we have been letting it out as a holiday rental, which we have found to be hugely successful and are pleased that others can enjoy the wonderful space when we are not there.
The location of the property is just perfect, you are right in the 'not so hustle and bustle' of the town centre, 1 walk minute to the lower ferry, 20 minutes' walk to the famous castle and conveniently right opposite the fudge shop! While the house is so centrally located, the second you enter the house and start to relax in the bright and large open plan living space you soon forget where you are and can really enjoy being around friends, family or even a good book or movie.
The only reason we are sadly selling Our Place is that our personal circumstances have changed and we have decided to reinvest our money into a home for ourselves in London, where we now work and spend most of our time. Dartmouth has definitely not seen the last of us though.
